Two anglers captivated by fly fishing. Hidetaka Higashino, who leads 'PHIGVEL', expressing modern new classics based on American casual and workwear, and Yoshitomi Hosone, who is launching functional heritage wear 'HOSONE' this season.
While being a clothing designer, Hosone became so fascinated with fly fishing that he started making his own fly rods and became deeply involved to the point of assembling a collection of fly rods within his clothing lineup. Following in his footsteps, Higashino also stepped into the world of fly fishing, and now they both spend their days and nights going fishing together.
They showcase a collection of fishing gear, fishing wear, books, memorabilia from fishing trips, and handmade flies, ranging from old to relatively new items, creating a space filled with the romance related to fly fishing. Yosuke Sato from 'ORRS', a friend and ally of the two, will also participate as a guest. In remembrance of their encounter, a special item crafted by Sato will be displayed and sold.
Additionally, at the venue, special gift shop items for this exhibition will be sold, including a souvenir set featuring T-shirts, pins, and tenugui from the two brands 'HEWITT' and 'HOSONE'. Whether you are an angler or not, we hope you come to experience their "Fishing Frank" spirit.
