It is a leather goods brand that has been making classic sandals in the East Village of New York since 1994. Founded by German craftsman Jutta Neumann. Jutta Neumann moved from Paris to New York in the 1980s and trained under a craftsman who was making leather sandals in New York before becoming independent in 1994 and launching her own brand. All products are still handmade in her workshop in New York by her and her son, along with a few craftsmen. JUTTA NEUMANN sandals and accessories are all handmade. The sandals feature an arch support (the curve of the foot's arch) that is bent by hand. This arch support conforms to the foot over time, improving comfort. The sensation of the sole's curve fitting perfectly to the foot is said to be a unique experience of JUTTA NEUMANN.
