This is a special order made in collaboration with Dice&Dice.
We usually develop this pattern in denim, but this time we created it in corduroy.
However, making corduroy with just any fabric available in the market is not interesting at all. So, we decided to use the original corduroy fabric that we have created ourselves.
This is a fabric that I really love, and when I thought about it, I realized that vintage Levi's and Wrangler also have corduroy jackets and pants.
I thought, "I see, why didn't we make this too?" And when the actual product came out, I honestly thought, "This is nice." This fabric is woven in Hamamatsu.
Normally, it is common to make corduroy from regular cotton, but we have intentionally replaced it with extra-long cotton, Supima yarn.
By doing so, it has become a very elegant corduroy with a sense of luxury, a nice touch, and a slight sheen.
You can wear it as is without washing, or alternatively, you can let it develop character over time.
I think it will look even cooler as you wear it. I want one for myself too.
I don't wear denim much, but I think I could wear corduroy. In fact, I feel like I could pull this off better, and I'm thinking of making one for myself as well.
