The texture of handwork expressed by machines
How much of the handwork-like texture unique to crochet can be replicated by a knitting machine? This knitwear has been carefully finished while facing that challenge. Based on the knitting pattern of our popular summer sweater series, it combines original yarn and a difficult knitting technique. It takes time to knit and is prone to defects, but the effort put into it has resulted in a texture that is rarely seen elsewhere.


The unique expression created by accumulated adjustments
While the pattern itself can be designed with software, whether the machine can knit it as intended is another story. By repeatedly adjusting the machine and applying the technique of knit tuck miss, we express subtle transparency, texture, and a unique sense of expression. After trying multiple patterns, we arrived at the knitting that best utilizes the material's texture through trial and error.
The sense of expression and refreshing feel can only be realized by achieving this difficult knitting technique. That is this year's summer sweater.
