JOHA

2019.06.17 / OTHERS

The brand "joha" was born in 1963 when a small tailor in Denmark created woolen underwear for children. It is said that in Scandinavia, everyone wears it at least once, and it is a long-established brand with about 900 stores worldwide.

Generally, fibers that feel prickly are said to be thicker than 30 microns. The wool used by joha is refined to 18-19 microns. Additionally, it uses merino wool, which is considered the highest quality among sheep wool due to its excellent insulation properties.

Joha's wool is free from chemical substances, has a low environmental impact, and has obtained the "EU Ecolabel," which is only granted to durable products. It has also passed the "International Woolmark" certification, which is awarded only to products that meet strict quality standards, proving its high quality.

Merino wool has natural antibacterial and odor-resistant properties. In fact, it is widely recognized among people in Europe, America, and outdoor enthusiasts, making it valuable for travel and outdoor activities. It keeps you warm in cold weather and has temperature-regulating properties that allow it to release body heat when it's hot, making it an ideal material for year-round wear and for protecting children who struggle to regulate their body temperature from the cold.

In recent years, the underwear brand "joha" has specialized in wool materials, which are being reevaluated for their inherent properties. Please check it out at our physical stores or online store.
