The sailor sweater from ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN is inspired by the designs of knitwear worn by sailors, fishermen, and hunters in Denmark for generations, allowing busy sailors to wear it easily without worrying about the front or back, as the front and back are designed similarly. Additionally, the cuffs feature finger holes, serving the function of arm warmers.
Using the finest merino wool, known for its high thermal insulation. The merino wool sourced from Uruguay and Patagonia undergoes reactive dyeing to the highest European standards. Furthermore, all items are manufactured in a small family-run factory in Northern Italy. Although merino wool is typically prone to pilling, the sweaters, tightly knitted by skilled artisans using strongly twisted wool, are highly resistant to pilling and have minimal stretching, allowing for long-lasting wear.
Natural color wool is carefully selected uncolored merino wool. The long-fiber wool sourced from Portugal is characterized by its high durability. The natural color wool, which is simply cut and washed after shearing, maximizes the gentle hues and texture inherent in the wool.
