TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance and Japan's leading outdoor brand Snow Peak have launched their third collaboration capsule collection on February 19, 2021, from 10 AM at the Dice and Dice online store and from 1 PM in-store. (If sold out online, there will be no in-store sales.)
TDS × Snow Peak EXTREME SPEC R_C4 MID (TRIPLE BLACK) Size: D/25.5 - 29.0cm ¥38,000 + TAX
The "REVEAL CONCEPT" design of "R_C4" visualizes technology. In collaboration with Snow Peak, the concept of "EXTREME SPEC" merges functionality suitable for use in mountains and camp fields with high-level design that matches the lifestyle of urban dwellers. The upper, which used rubber material in the first release, has been updated with premium leather material to enhance durability and stain resistance. Additionally, the all-black coloring makes it a versatile shoe that can be enjoyed in a timeless and seasonless manner.
GORE-TEX® Upper
The upper material made of CORDURA® ripstop with a grid stitch is layered with GORE-TEX® fabric lining on the inside, creating an all-weather structure that balances waterproofness and breathability.
Vibram Outsole
The outsole made by Vibram is molded into a rugged shape used in outdoor and trail shoes, with rubber material adjusted for hardness to prevent slipping in bad weather and rough terrain, maximizing grip. It has been developed to ensure that all urban dwellers can enjoy a comfortable wearing experience in all conditions.
FIDLOCK Buckle
The buckle made by FIDLOCK allows for intuitive one-handed operation using magnets, ensuring safety and a secure fit, even in low visibility environments at night.
ENCAP REVEAL Midsole
Born as a technology for New Balance running shoes, "ENCAP" is a structure that balances stability and cushioning, encapsulating shock-absorbing EVA material in a sturdy PU material. The cushioning EVA was originally invisible from the outside of the shoe. Based on the concept of "REVEAL," the new sole technology platform "ENCAP REVEAL" has been born. By upgrading the cushioning material to "ABZORB," which boasts advanced shock absorption and rebound elasticity, it reliably absorbs the impact on landing and returns that energy during push-off. The function is visualized, adopting a design that showcases it on the outside. This new midsole technology will be developed as a new platform for New Balance in the future.

TDS × Snow Peak DS WOOL SOX (DARK HEATHER) Size: M(23-25cm) / L(25-27cm) / XL(27-29cm) ¥3,500 + TAX
The knitted fabric developed by blending natural wool, which excels in warmth and softness, with functional yarns for moisture absorption and quick drying is designed to be compatible with the GORE-TEX® material used in this footwear. To maximize the waterproof and breathable functions of GORE-TEX®, the socks mix quick-drying functional materials to prevent moisture buildup and keep the inside of the footwear comfortable at all times. Additionally, by technically adjusting the knitting of the socks by parts, breathability is ensured in the instep area, where temperature tends to rise during footwear wear, allowing for cooling, while supporting the arch and heel to enhance performance during wear. The cushioning function of the sole is expected to reduce fatigue during long wear. The simple and standard design features a fluorescent yellow accent on the ribbed back, adding an urban touch.
