The new apparel from TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance, inspired by New Balance's established footwear craftsmanship, reinterprets the New Balance archive and is designed based on the iconic 78 JACKET that debuted in 1978. It combines functionality suitable for running and training with a classic look that can be worn on the street. This windbreaker caters to the lifestyle of modern urban dwellers and excels in various scenes.

The revolutionary ultra-stretch ripstop fabric fits with excellent elasticity, even under intense movement and repeated use. It is extremely lightweight and has a dry feel, making it suitable for running and training.
The mesh lining and ventilation in the back yoke provide excellent breathability. It keeps the inside of the jacket comfortable at all times and serves as a lightweight outer layer regardless of the season.
The removable hood and the bi-color accent on the inside of the cuffs allow for diverse styling options with just one piece.

After graduating from Kuwasawa Design School, I was responsible for planning and design at several apparel brands. In 2013, I became independent and established my own apparel brand, starting to create fixtures for exhibitions. In 2017, I paused the brand and began activities focused on fixture production and spatial composition. In 2019, I started activities under the name WORKSHOPTM. In 2020, I began producing and exhibiting artwork.
