Born in the 1980s, the "574" has become the most popular iconic model representing New Balance, and the latest model "TDS 574" reinterprets it. While preserving the classic design codes of New Balance footwear, it adds a modern reinterpretation, combining high design quality with the latest technology for comfortable wear. The white and navy colorways were inspired by New Balance's iconic archives, following the initial gray release. This is a new, authentically modern footwear that allows for the enjoyment of fresh and free styling, transcending categories like sneakers and dress shoes.

The upper retains the classic design codes of New Balance 574, based on the structure of the tip (toe), saddle (instep), and foxing (heel), while adopting dress shoe design details for the double edge (the edge around the entire shoe including the heel). Furthermore, the side N logo has been boldly removed, resulting in a neutral and modern look that freely transcends the norms of New Balance footwear. The sole features a newly developed shark sole co-created with VibramR for this model. Not only does it have a bold and modern look, but it also provides excellent slip resistance and cushioning, ensuring comfort for urban dwellers in all conditions. The white colorway is inspired by the color scheme of TRACKSTER, New Balance's first serious running shoe released in the 1960s, while the navy color is inspired by the second color released after the original gray of the 574 from the 1980s.

※Vibram Shark Sole
The shark sole, characterized by its tooth-like shape, was originally worn in the 1950s in America and featured deep grooves designed for practicality on wet surfaces and rocky terrain. In the 1970s, its striking design caught attention in the UK and began to be adopted in Europe. For the TDS 574, a new shark sole with original design was developed and adopted using the latest technology in collaboration with Vibram.
※New Balance 574
The "576", one of New Balance's representative models introduced in 1988, featured a deep grooved outsole that enhanced performance on uneven terrain, demonstrating the potential for running beyond the track. The "574", inspired by the "576", has built an unwavering popularity worldwide and is an iconic model that boasts the most wearers in New Balance's history.
