【Background of Yonetomi CASHMERE SWEATER】
Currently, most cashmere knit products available worldwide are produced overseas, including in China, or are whole garment products. Due to the high cost of cashmere as a raw material, it has become common to use as little cashmere as possible and to produce items that are lightweight, quick, and inexpensive.



While lightweight and fluffy cashmere does not deny the existence of knits, there are many poor-quality products that become saggy and wrinkled after a year of wear due to thin cashmere.



This product was born from the desire to propose a knit that allows you to truly feel cashmere, with a luxurious and firmly knitted texture and unique resilience, similar to some high-end brands that use cashmere yarn lavishly.



【About the Order Event Style】
As a new challenge for knit manufacturers, we experimented with the idea of holding an event/order event that customers would enjoy, in a place that is neither OEM/ODM nor a brand, and where other manufacturers and brands are not involved.



Since production starts after receiving orders, there is basically no risk of unsold stock, and no unnecessary inventory is created.

By using raw materials that were scheduled to be discarded and creating high-quality products through technology and know-how, we aim to set prices as affordable as possible and maximize customer satisfaction.




【YARN】
The raw materials used are deadstock yarns that were sleeping in the warehouse of a domestic spinning factory specializing in cashmere. Originally, cashmere yarn for weaving has a strong twist, which makes it hard when used in knits. We developed an original yarn with increased twist to ensure strength that can withstand tight knitting.



【KNITTING】
Using the latest middle gauge (10G) knitting machine, we tightly knitted the yarn at its maximum capacity with a non-standard thread and gauge setting. This luxurious knitting technique has created a unique resilience in the soft texture of cashmere.



【DYEING】
It is not easy to beautifully dye cashmere that is tightly knitted to a uniform color through product dyeing, and it is difficult to dye with little dyeing know-how in overseas settings.



Thanks to the dyeing technology and careful finishing of a long-established domestic dyeing manufacturer, we achieved vibrant coloring that can be mistaken for top dyeing (dyeing in the state of the fiber).



【DESIGN】
Adopting a linear pattern reminiscent of vintage sweatshirts, the unique resilience of the tightly knitted material creates a structured silhouette. It is resistant to sagging and wrinkling, allowing for a long period of gradual wear. You can also enjoy the aging process as it becomes more familiar to you the more you wear it.

【CARE&REPAIR】
This cashmere knit is knitted tightly with strong twist cashmere yarn, making it suitable for home washing. It can be washed even in the washing machine's hand wash mode.

All products produced by Yonetomi Sen-i are eligible for repair at any time, regardless of the season or years passed. Customers can inquire through the Yonetomi Sen-i website.
