& Dice & Dice supported by TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance (hereinafter TDSNBXDXD) is releasing the latest footwear TDS 574 from TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance (Tokyo Design Studio New Balance / hereinafter TDS).
The latest model “TDS 574” reinterprets the most popular iconic model “574” that symbolizes New Balance.
While cherishing the classic design codes of New Balance footwear, it adds a modern reinterpretation, combining high design quality with a comfortable fit thanks to the latest technology. The first release in gray and the second release in white and navy featured a classic combination of suede and mesh for the upper, but the third release in black adopts an upper made of three types of leather (smooth, nubuck, suede) combined with mesh, creating a formal impression that conveys depth within a single tone. This is a new, authentically modern footwear that allows you to discover the joy of new and free styling, unrestricted by categories like sneakers or dress shoes.

The upper retains the classic design codes of New Balance 574 based on the structure of the tip (toe), saddle (instep), and foxing (heel), incorporating dress shoe design details in the double-edge (the edge surrounding the entire shoe including the heel). Furthermore, the side N logo has been boldly removed, resulting in a neutral and modern look that freely transcends the norms of New Balance footwear. The sole features a newly developed shark sole co-created with Italian VibramR for this model. Not only does it offer a bold and modern appearance, but it also provides excellent slip resistance and cushioning, ensuring comfort for all urban dwellers in any condition.
Vibram Shark Sole
The shark sole, characterized by a shape resembling shark teeth, was originally worn in America in the 1950s and was designed with deep grooves for practicality on wet surfaces and rocky terrains. By the 1970s, its striking design gained attention in the UK and began to be adopted across Europe. In this TDS 574, a new shark sole with original design has been developed and adopted using the latest technology in collaboration with Vibram.
