In the mid-18th century, chino pants supplied to the British Army were valued for their KHAKI color, which blends well with the land (meaning "dust color" in Hindi), and the durability of the tightly woven twill fabric. By the end of the 18th century, they were also issued to the American Army.
Chino pants gained widespread popularity in the 1950s. Students from prestigious private universities on the East Coast of the United States, known as the Ivy League, embraced chino pants, transforming them from military uniforms into a symbol of the Ivy look.

We use high-density chino cloth woven on vintage looms from the 1950s.
This chino cloth is dyed using a method called yarn-dyeing, where the yarn is dyed before weaving the fabric. This ensures that the dye penetrates deeply into the yarn, resulting in rich colors. Yarn-dyeing is a luxurious dyeing method that takes time and uses a lot of dye.
Next, the details.
The top of the fly features a hook and button. This design is inspired by stylish soldiers who found the issued chino pants lacking and tailored them to resemble slacks.
Additionally, the fly can be either zip-up or button-fly, depending on the silhouette, adapting to the style of the pants that served as the motif.
There are a total of 12 silhouettes.
In addition to wide and slim silhouettes, there are various styles including straight silhouettes with wide hems and tapered silhouettes that narrow from the thigh to the hem.
Colors available are WHITE, BEIGE, KHAKI, and K.NAVY (a plant-dyed navy).
