At Dice and Dice, the new color of the TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance College Logo Sweat Series will be released on October 7, 2022 (Friday) at 10:00 AM on our online store.
The apparel developed by TDS, inspired by New Balance's established footwear craftsmanship, features a college logo sweat series that combines classic style with the comfort of functional materials. We offer two types of tops and one type of pants in gender-neutral patterns and silhouettes. These items are perfect for casual wear on the street as well as activewear for sports, featuring graphic work designed by Yoshihisa Tanaka, a graphic designer and artist known as Nerhol, who reinterprets the classic college logo in a modern way.
TDS College Logo Sweat Series
The second installment of the TDS College Logo Sweat Series introduces a new color: heather black. Not only does it offer a classic texture, but it also uses a lightweight, warm cotton/acrylic functional fabric. It is resistant to shape distortion even after repeated washing, making it easy to wear as daily wear or during active scenes like sports. The logo design features original graphics by Yoshihisa Tanaka, a graphic designer closely associated with Tokyo Design Studio, who also works as an artist known as Nerhol. The design explores the archives of New Balance apparel, reinterpreting the classic college logo seen in 1970s running wear with modern, sophisticated original typography and coloring. The mix of embroidery and print is applied to each item.
