At Dice&Dice, we will hold the pop-up event "AHLEM POP-UP SHOP at Dice&Dice" featuring the eyewear brand "AHLEM" that combines classic styles unaffected by trends with innovative design, from January 20 (Fri) to January 23 (Mon), 2023.
Additionally, on the weekend of January 21 (Sat) and January 22 (Sun), staff from Globe Specs, the Japanese agent for AHLEM, will be available as opticians to provide advice on frame selection and adjustments.
At this event, you can view the lineup including the official collaboration frame "GALLIERA," which was announced at the exhibition held at the Palais Galliera in Paris, marking AHLEM's first exhibition, as well as the 2022 Fall/Winter collection. We will also present a specialty coffee bag from Belleville, which was served during the exhibition.
The inspiration came from Ahlem's visit to the Palais Galliera, which was hosting a retrospective exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of VOGUE PARIS. Inspired by the grandeur of fashion history and the beauty of the Palais Galliera itself, she designed sketches for the frames. Later, Ahlem met with Mr. Miren Alzars, the director of the museum, to discuss the frame designs created in homage to the Palais Galliera.
Mr. Alzars fell in love with AHLEM's brand, attention to detail, craftsmanship, small-batch production, and design, and decided to produce the collaboration frames and announce the collection at the museum. The collaborated eyewear is displayed and sold as the official eyewear of the Palais Galliera.

Designer Ahlem Manai Platt, born in France and based in LA. Her design philosophy is strongly influenced by the Bauhaus movement of the early 20th century. She aims to integrate art into daily life, pursuing simple and beautiful designs backed by high technical skill. The frames are handmade by skilled artisans in the Oyona region of France, known as one of the world's leading eyewear production areas. The intricate engraving on the metal parts captivates the viewer's eye.
