I asked Yosuke, the owner of ORRS, about these shirts.
"If the sewing is poor, it ruins the shirt, so I have them do very fine stitching, even at the edge. I have them add fine tucks like a dress shirt, allowing for ease in the arms while keeping a refined look. Also, for the open collar, I pay attention to the curve of the collar, making it subtly curved. I've had the same shape of shirt made in various materials, and every time I ask the craftsmen to make it curved, but over a short distance, it inevitably comes out straight. This time, it feels like they finally got it right."

The selection of fabric is also meticulous.
"Originally, when I opened the store, I made the same shape of shirt in cotton, but when customers came back, the shirts were wrinkled. While that has its charm, when you want to look neat, you have to iron it. But single men often don't have an iron or find it bothersome. So, I researched fabrics that don't wrinkle easily after washing. Finally, I found the fabric used for this shirt. We weave three strands of rayon and one strand of polyester. The addition of polyester makes it feel like a thick rayon fabric, and if you hang it up after washing without wringing it, the wrinkles will stretch out and won't be noticeable. I finally found a fabric I can be satisfied with."

Yosuke, the owner of ORRS, has a preference for wearing long-sleeved shirts even in summer, so he designed this fabric with the idea of a "long-sleeved shirt that can be worn in the summer in Okinawa." The summer sun in Okinawa is strong. If the fabric feels cool against the skin, wearing long sleeves, which cover more skin, can be more comfortable. Even when rolled up, it creates an elegant atmosphere that short-sleeved shirts lack. This shirt is recommended for those who struggle to wear short-sleeved shirts well.
