Cashmere is a fiber obtained from animals that live in cold regions, specifically the cashmere goat. It is incredibly soft and has a structure that retains body heat the best among natural fibers, thanks to its high air retention rate.
Fibers are often described as warm, but they do not generate heat themselves; rather, they are characterized by how well they retain the heat emitted by humans. Cashmere fibers are particularly good at trapping the heat we produce within their structure.
10GRAM CASH TURTLE NECK / BLACK

This is made from the hair of baby goats, known as "baby cashmere," which is harvested within six months of their birth. This baby cashmere is extremely rare, and from the softest part, known as the underbelly hair, only 10g can be collected from one goat. This series is called "10g Cash" and was launched in the fall/winter of 2023.
10GRAM CASH CREW NECK / BLACK

Batoner's knits have often used materials that are structurally durable and long-lasting, which contrasts with the typical image of knits like high-twist or dense knits. However, I also wanted to wear softer knits. As I age, I find that while I appreciate those durable options, there is a strong desire for softer, easier-to-care-for pieces that can be worn daily. This feedback inspired me to create this series.
