TDSNBXDXD invites Blumo and Yuki Matsuo to the “rebloom” flower market event

2023.10.25 / OTHERS

& DICE & DICE supported by TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance(TDSNBXDXD) has opened a limited-time flower market inside the Dice & Dice store, featuring a gallery and shop focused on vases, from November 3 (Friday, national holiday) to November 12 (Sunday) in Nanokawa, Fukuoka City. We welcome Yuki Matsuo, who is also the curator of 'Wunderkammer FUKUOKA,' the smallest modern art museum in Fukuoka, which is located within Dice & Dice and is run by All-You-Can-Eat Press, handling space decoration and styling with Blumo.

“Instead of choosing vases to display flowers, choose flowers for the vases you want to place.” This flower market proposes a completely new approach centered around vases by two creators. “rebloom” means “to bloom again” or “to return to bloom.” Blumo upcycled scraps and waste generated during the production and sale of New Balance footwear into vases. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, allowing for not just decoration but also versatile usage and enjoyment. Just like New Balance footwear and athletic wear, it caters to a diverse range of lifestyles, regardless of age or gender, proposing a comfortable and quality lifestyle.

You can view the “rebloom” vase collection and fresh flower installations by Blumo. Some vases are available for purchase in-store.

Additionally, we are distributing specially designed wrapping paper for this exhibition. We also have a free paper titled “Wunderkammer Paper” featuring the behind-the-scenes story of how “rebloom” was created, so please feel free to take one.
