BATONER DESIGNER INTERVIEW Vol.6

BATONER DESIGNER INTERVIEW Vol.6

2023.11.17 / OTHERS

I think it really comes down to being truly simple and being loved by customers for a long time in many ways.

The background of that is that I believe in creating things that seem to be there but actually aren't.

I feel that doing what already exists doesn't have much meaning for a small brand like ours.

It would be great if we could convey that while it looks simple at first glance, there's something different when you wear it, but getting there is actually very difficult.

I think about how challenging it is to differentiate with something simple every day.

On the other hand, things that are quite flashy and easy to understand might be immediately recognizable, but there are many truly simple things in the world, and creating something that customers will think is good is perhaps the most difficult.

To be honest, I might not have a big goal, but I want to be a brand that comes to mind when people think of knitwear (BATONER).

As a creator, I believe that the fashion industry cannot exist without the people who make it, and as we move forward, the aging population will progress, and I think difficult times are coming, so my big goal is to enhance the value of the people who create.
