From April 11 (Fri) to April 14 (Mon), Dice&Dice will hold the ©ATONCOLOR 'SUMI' EXHIBITION. We have added the classic black from botanical dyeing, navy from indigo dyeing, the traditional gray from Sumi dyeing that has been available since last year, and a gentle gray extracted from bamboo charcoal using high-tech dyeing techniques.
In terms of materials, we have added silk and nylon to the classic cotton lawn and jersey.
On April 13 (Sun), Director Yasuharu Hisazaki will also be welcoming customers at the store. Please feel free to stop by.

A long sleeve shirt with beautiful silk luster and movement of the material. Its pleasant texture and lightness are also appealing. It can be coordinated as a set with pants made from the same material. Additionally, a storage bag is included.
TRAVEL SILK
This silk twill material is dyed with NATURAL DYE at a dyeing factory in Bunkyo, Tokyo. The plant-based dyeing method, which differs from traditional plant dyeing, allows for vibrant colors and deep expressions while minimizing environmental pollution and reducing the consumption of raw materials such as plants used for dyeing, making it an ATON original material.
*About Sumi Dyeing
It is said that Sumi dyeing was introduced to Japan from the Korean Peninsula during the Asuka period, and for about 1300 years, Sumi has been made using the soot from burning pine trees in Nara with the same method as in ancient times. This Sumi is used not only for paper but also for dyeing fabric with modern technology. The unique hues of ATON's Sumi dyeing create complex shades of gray that cannot be achieved with ordinary chemical dyes, resembling a traditional ink wash painting.
