Natural Black Baby Alpaca
When alpaca wool became a global trend in the 1960s, pure white fibers, which are highly versatile for dyeing, became widely used, putting many natural colors at risk of extinction. Today, only 28 colors remain, and among them, the rare black alpaca accounts for less than 0.05% of all alpacas living in the Andes Mountains of Peru.
Baby alpaca is known for its high-quality fibers with a diameter of 22-23 microns (1 micron = 0.001 mm).
Alpaca wool is soft and silky, free from lanolin that can cause allergies. Additionally, the unique hollow structure of the fibers provides insulation and temperature-regulating functions to withstand natural environments.
