YAECA - PFU Zip-Up
The 'U' in YAECA U stands for Uniform. This is YAECA's military wear, crafted into clothing that adults can wear comfortably while retaining the practicality of military apparel.
Inspired by training wear used during drills, we created a comfortable knit.
Using a special knitting machine, each piece is knitted in three dimensions without any seams. By knitting in three dimensions, we were able to create a natural, unrestrictive shape that conforms to the body. With no seams, there is no sensation of snagging or pulling, resulting in a gentle wearing experience.
To ensure comfort throughout the year, we knitted it with a blend of cotton and nylon yarn.
The cotton has a crimp, which provides insulation. Although this crimp is often lost during the yarn-making process, we use matured cotton to maintain the inherent warmth of the material. By spinning the nylon, which has stretch, around the cotton, we achieved a knit that is firm yet lightweight and insulating.
