JUTTA NEUMANN is a leather goods brand that has been creating classic sandals in the East Village of New York since 1994. It was founded by German artisan Jutta Neumann.
Jutta Neumann moved from Paris to New York in the 1980s, trained under a craftsman who was making leather sandals in New York, and then became independent in 1994 to launch her own brand. All products are still handmade in her New York workshop by her and her son, along with a few artisans.
All sandals and accessories from JUTTA NEUMANN are handcrafted. The sandals feature an arch support (the curve of the instep) that is individually bent by hand. This arch support conforms to your foot over time, enhancing comfort. The sensation of the sole's curve fitting perfectly to your foot is said to be a unique experience of JUTTA NEUMANN.
