JUTTA NEUMANN sandals are back in stock after a long time.
Dice&Dice has been carrying them since our opening.
Back then, our seniors would go all the way to JUTTA's shop in New York to place orders directly. That was how the sandals made their way to our store.
Even when I joined the company, the president and my seniors were regular users, and they had become a staple at Dice.
About 7-8 years ago, when I visited New York myself, I went to JUTTA's shop and placed an order while chatting with her.
The shop was located in a somewhat unsafe area, but the atmosphere of that place still strongly remains in my memory.
JUTTA is said to be one of the disciples of a legendary leather sandal craftsman, and she has created her own unique style incorporating Birkenstock soles. (It might also be related to her originally being from Germany.)
These sandals with rubber soles are easy to wear even on the uneven streets of New York, and they have gained a lot of support.
They also made headlines when designer Anna Sui had Naomi Campbell wear them.
At first, the leather may feel a bit stiff, but the more you wear them, the more they conform to your feet, becoming a pair that is uniquely yours.
I believe it’s understandable why they are referred to as "the Rolls Royce of leather sandals."
This is one of the items that Dice&Dice has always cherished, so I would be happy if you could know this background as well.
