An item created to commemorate the exhibition 'FISHING FRANK' featuring Hideki Higashino from 'PHIGVEL' and Yoshitomi Hosone from 'HOSONE', held in March 2024.
Two anglers captivated by fly fishing. Hideki Higashino, who leads 'PHIGVEL', expressing modern new classics based on American casual and workwear, and Yoshitomi Hosone, who is launching the functional beauty heritage wear 'HOSONE' this season.
While being a clothing designer, Hosone became so fascinated by fly fishing that he started making his own fly rods and became deeply involved in assembling a collection of fly rods within his clothing lineup. Following in his footsteps, Higashino also stepped into the world of fly fishing, and now both of them spend their days and nights going fishing together.
They have created a Wunderkammer-like space by displaying their collection of fishing gear, fishing wear, books, mementos from fishing trips, and self-made flies, showcasing a romantic collection related to fly fishing, ranging from old items to relatively new ones.
