This item was created to commemorate the exhibition "FISHING FRANK" featuring Hideki Higashino from "PHIGVEL" and Yoshitomi Hosone from "HOSONE," held in March 2024.
Two fishermen captivated by fly fishing. Hideki Higashino, who leads "PHIGVEL," expressing modern new classics based on American casual and workwear, and Yoshitomi Hosone, who launched the functional beauty heritage wear "HOSONE" this season.
While being a clothing designer, Hosone became so fascinated by fly fishing that he started making his own fly rods and became deeply involved to the point of assembling a collection of fly rods within his clothing lineup. Following in his footsteps, Higashino also stepped into the world of fly fishing, and now they both spend their days and nights going fishing together.
They displayed a collection of fishing gear, fishing wear, books, mementos from fishing trips, and homemade flies, showcasing a romantic collection related to fly fishing, ranging from old to relatively new items, creating a Wunderkammer-like cherished space.
